Blog Designed is the brain child of Sumesh, an eager design enthusiast. With over 2 years of experience in web design, blogging and WordPress, he hopes to pen down his ideas, tips, hacks etc. that he has learned over the years.
Look out for effective design advice for your blogs, essential SEO for bloggers/designers and occasional beginners’ guide on various topics ranging from xHTML/CSS to PHP and WordPress.
Also in the works are a couple of WordPress themes that will include lots of options for customization (via a theme options page in WP dashboard), top-notch SEO and fast page loads, and ebooks on design and WordPress.

What powers Blog Designed
Blog Designed is hosted by Doreo, a host with high uptimes, fast servers (I survived Dugg with no caching in place) and little overselling. Read my review of Doreo.
Blog Designed runs on our blogging platform of choice, WordPress and Pronix, a custom theme (that will be released soon). Pronix was coded on a Macbook with Textmate and Adobe Photoshop.
Posts are written with the WP post editor, and image uploads are handled by Transmit. Images are processed with Photoshop.
